Re: Subversion 1.7 support

Where the alpha version of smartSVN could be downloaded from?

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

We will post a message where the SmartSVN 7 preview builds are available as soon as we make them available.

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

Hi, do you have any news on the availability of the 1.7 support builds?

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

Almost all functionality (except of Merge and extended SmartSVN-functionality not present in SVN) is working. We expect to get first builds without extended functionality out at the beginning of February and fully-functional builds until mid of February.

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

Great! Thanks for the update. We wouldn't update to SVN1.7 until smartsvn does.

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

I'm stuck with a repo that was upgraded prematurely. I'm now stuck doing command line diffs. Totally looking forward to the upcoming release.

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

Yep, we too.... Does it have a release date? for alpha, beta, or something? and where?

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

I have a feeling in march we'll just see another strikethrough and they'll be saying april/may as the tentative release date. And then in april it will be june. Lets be honest, we'll be lucky if this is out in 2012 at all.

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

Hi, I can understand that Syntevo is waiting for the new version of the SVNKit to be ready. Are there any builds with the currently available SVNKit alpha with 1.7 support?

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

Currently the last missing feature (Merge) is being implemented for SVNKit and there are stress tests running regarding .svn/wc.db. Once these tasks are finished, we will publish the first SmartSVN alpha build.

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

I tried to install the generic package of SmartSVN 1.7 EA5 (smartsvn-generic-7_ea5.tar.gz). The archive seems to be not complete. tar throws an error: tar: Skipping to next header tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors The binary length and the md5sum of the downloaded file match the values written at the download page.

Re: Subversion 1.7 support

Thanks for letting us know. The generic bundle was actually corrupted and has been fixed now.
